Summary of School Development Plan 2012-2013
The School Development Plan (SDP) is a strategic plan for improvement. It brings together, in a clear and simple way, the school’s priorities, the main measures taken to raise standards, the resources required and the key outcomes and targets to be achieved. The school writes a very detailed plan, outlining expected outcomes for the year. For the purpose of this page the main outcomes only are summarised. Further information about our SDP can be sought from the school at any time.
This year we aim to:
- Raise attainment in writing by changing the way we set the children and by carefully sequencing the teaching of punctuation, grammar, vocabulary and organisation of written ideas.
- Improve our school website to ensure information is valid and purposeful.
- Schedule effective and timely Governor visits.
- Work with children and parents to eradicate incidents of low level disruption
The chart below summarises the actions the school will be taking during the coming year to fulfil the aims
